Welcome to Sheridan Ford! We offer the best selection, finance deals and customer service in Wilmington, DE! We want to help you find the right car for your lifestyle.

With seating for up to 8, the 2018 Ford Expedition is the perfect full-sized SUV for the family. Spacious and comfortable, the Expedition offers much more than the 2018 Chevrolet Suburban.

Compare both and visit us at Sheridan Ford to test drive one!

Power

When you compare the power between the Expedition and the Suburban, the Expedition comes out on top. The Expediton’s 3.5L EcoBoost® engine delivers 375 hp1, while the Suburban can only claim 355 hp. The Expedition also features a 10-speed transmission, while the Suburban features a 6-speed transmission. Schedule a test drive at Sheridan Ford to experience the power today.

Capability

When considering the Expedition, remember the various available drive-assist features that help you drive with more confidence:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • BLIS (Blind Spot Information System)
  • Pre-Collision Assist
  • Lane-Keeping System

The 2018 Expedition can tow a max of 9,300 lbs., which is 1,000 lbs. more than the 2018 Suburban can tow. Bring your boat, or a trailer with you when you need to. With Pro Trailer Backup Assist™2,3, backing up your trailer up is as easy as the turn of a dial. Using the rear camera, easily see the placement of the trailer, and let the system steer as you go.

Space

The Expedition brings much more space and comfort to the table than the Suburban. With a total of 171.9 cubic feet (120.8 cubic feet in the Suburban), passengers can stretch out. Those seated in the third row can also recline their seats for added comfort.

If you need a little more space for cargo, fold down the second row to utilize that space if you don’t need the seats.

Technology

Your expedition is equipped with a touch screen, but you can use SYNC® 32,4 with voice-activated technology to change the radio, play music from your phone, make calls and hear turn-by-turn directions. SYNC Connect acts as Wi-Fi hotspot*, and up to 10 devices can be connect at time. SYNC Connect also lets you lock/unlock your car and start/stop the engine remotely.

Using the FordPass™ phone app5, remotely check your fuel levels, find parking and schedule service as needed. It acts as your personal assistant while driving.
