Ford Escape Trim Levels

The Ford Escape is everything you want in a vehicle all rolled into one. It’s stylish, capable, and boasts innovative features inside and out. But you already knew all that. So, do you know which trim level will best serve your needs on the Wilmington, New Castle, and Newark, Delaware, roads?

Worry not because the team at Sheridan Ford is here to help. In our guide to the 2021 Ford Escape trim levels, you can see what comes standard in each one. Read on, pick the one with the features you want most, and get excited about driving this well-rounded SUV!

Ford Escape S

The 2021 Ford Escape trim levels begin with the S. This trim is powered by the 181-horsepower 1.5L EcoBoost® engine paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD). However, all-wheel drive (AWD) is available.

Inside, you’ll find a plethora of standard features that will elevate your driving experience. This includes Ford Co-Pilot360™ driver-assistive technologies and FordPass™ Connect with in-vehicle Wi-Fi capability. But that’s not all. To keep you connected, you’ll also have the SYNC® infotainment system with a 4.2-inch LCD screen and voice recognition.

Comfort and entertainment are also standard on this trim thanks to the following features:

  • 6-way manual driver seat
  • 4-way manual front-passenger seat
  • 6-speaker audio system

2021 Escape SE

Next up is the Ford Escape SE that adds onto the features in the S. The first thing you’ll notice is the upgraded SYNC® 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch display. This gives drivers more cabin features to control, like SiriusXM®, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto™, truly transforming the way you commute.

Convenience is also elevated in the SE trim with tons of handy amenities, like Intelligent Access with push-button start. This lets you use your smartphone to open the doors, so you can leave your key fob in your purse or pocket!

Escape SEL

Looking for a suite of more upgrades that will take driving to the next level? The SEL, the next trim in the Ford Escape lineup, has you covered.

In the cabin, you’ll now have a 10-way power driver seat that also has lumbar support and can recline. This goes perfectly with standard heated front seats and the heated steering wheel, keeping you cozy for the duration of any trip.

Passengers in the rear seats are cared for, also, thanks to the center console armrest that’s equipped with two cupholders.

Other amenities included in the SEL are:

  • Remote Start System
  • Power liftgate
  • Reverse Sensing System
  • Heated exterior side mirrors

2021 Ford Escape Titanium

For the best of the best, the Titanium is here. First of all, it switches out the engine with a 2.5L hybrid engine that gives you greener driving and up to 200 horsepower. Next, more safety features are included with the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist+ system, giving you added confidence behind the wheel.

The upgrades don’t end there, either. With standard features like these, we think you’ll want to stay behind the wheel much longer:

  • 10-speaker B&O™ Sound System with subwoofer & HD Radio™
  • 6-way power front-passenger seat
  • 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
  • Hands-free, foot-activated liftgate
  • Ambient cabin lighting
